Boeing knows how to make a boat fly too!
28/5/2011 - PÁPA AIR BASE, Hungary - Pápa international community arranged the yearly, traditional boat race on a little Lake Malom in Pápa.
The goal was to build a boat out of cardboard and take it across the lake Malom. The Boeing team proved to be the best not only in the field of aerodynamics, but also building a boat. Their time was fastest.
Norway won the prize for the design of their Viking inspired boat and Romania was awarded the "Best in show" -prize. The race was organized by the Norwegian contingent.
