Pápa Air Base organizes a three day event to celebrate the 75 th anniversary of military flight in Pápa.
On Friday the 29th June there will be entertaintment program in the Március 15th Square in Pápa with music, dance, exhibitions etc. The Air Force band will perform at 17.15.
On Saturday the 30th June there will be an open air event on the grassland behind the sports hall. The event is a sportive team competition of several authorities and civilians. There will also be a united HAW/NAMA/Boeing team competing. The event begins at 14.00.
On Sunday the 1st July the Pápa Air Base will host an open day to all interested. The gates of the base will be opened at 9.00. There will e g C-17, Mi-24 helicopter, Mi-8/17 helicopter, AN-26 and MiG-21 on display. Program for the children will also be arranged (face-painting, bouncy castle etc).
